A practicing attorney in Nevada since 2015, Meesha Moulton is dedicated to making a difference in the Las Vegas community. As both a personal injury and immigration law attorney, Meesha branched out on her own to open her own practice while her child was still very young. Juggling the rigors of being mom, wife, and CEO, Moulton still finds time to give back to her Las Vegas community. In 2023, she partnered with Super Build to construct a playground at St. Jude’s Ranch for Children and in 2024, she partnered with Vegas Has a Heart to host a free heart-screening event for hundreds of local student athletes.

As a full-time lawyer and full time mom, Moulton believes that balancing work and life is a never ending life lesson. Yet through every challenge, she continues to show up for her clients, her family, and her city with purpose and resilience. Meesha is proof that motherhood doesn’t hinder ambition—it fuels it. Her journey reflects the spirit of what it means to be a Woman of Impact: fierce in leadership, grounded in love, and unstoppable in her pursuit of justice and community care.

Mayor Pamela Goynes-Brown is reshaping history in North Las Vegas — not only as Nevada’s first Black mayor, but as a lifelong educator, community steward, and woman of impact who leads with heart, heritage, and an unwavering vision for the future. Pamela Goynes-Brown was elected Mayor of the City of North Las Vegas in 2022 and assumed office that same year on December 1, becoming the first black Mayor in Nevada history. A longtime educator turned public servant, Mayor Goynes-Brown previously served as Councilwoman of North Las Vegas’ Ward 2 for over a decade and was the first female African American Councilwoman in that role. She also was the first female African American Mayor Pro-Tempore, having served for two terms.

A proud daughter of North Las Vegas since 1964, Mayor Goynes-Brown has deep roots in the community she now leads. Following in the footsteps of her parents — both public servants in their own right — she dedicated 35 years to the Clark County School District, working as a teacher and eventually retiring as an assistant principal. Her devotion to education, equity, and the next generation reflects her belief that real change starts with investing in people.

As a mother, she understands the stakes of leadership not just from a policy level, but from a deeply personal place. She’s been where so many women are — juggling motherhood, career, and caregiving while overcoming barriers not built for her success. And yet, she’s remained steadfast in her commitment to serving her city with compassion and courage. Her legacy is not only one of historic firsts, but of building bridges, uplifting underserved voices, and ensuring every child, family, and citizen has a seat at the table.

As a Woman of Impact, Mayor Goynes-Brown continues to lead with grace under pressure, pushing forward a vision for North Las Vegas that honors its diverse roots and charts a bold, inclusive path for generations to come.
